If you are a student who is enrolled past your expected graduation date, you will need to email edu@nytimes.com to have your first graduation date cleared and then re-authenticate following the steps below.

If you are a faculty or staff member, your account is only active for four years; after that point, you will need to re-authenticate following the steps below.

  1. To re-authenticate your account, go to the New York Times Education Access page.
    • Search for and select University of Rhode Island.
    • If prompted, log in with your URI Single Sign On (SSO) credentials.
    • You will be redirected to the New York Times welcome page.
  2. Click on “Already have an account? Log in here >>”.

See our guide on URI access to the New York Times for additional information.
